Ramya Ambur Sankaranarayanan, PhD, MSc

Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Ramya Ambur Sankaranarayanan is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. She achieved her doctoral degree from University Hospital, RWTH Aachen University, Germany. During her graduate studies, she worked primarily on auger emitter-based therapy using a radio iodinated PARP inhibitor in triple negative breast cancer models. She is currently working on research projects within the area of targeted imaging and radioligand therapy. Her focus is on advancing preclinical cancer theranostics and targeted drug delivery, with emphasis on studying new alpha emitter based drugs as well as improving pharmacokinetics.
